Ben Whishaw Cast as Q in Skyfall

Actor Ben Whishaw has been cast in the upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall as famous Bond gadget man Q.

According to Hollywood Reporter, British actor Ben Whishaw has been cast as Q in the new James Bond film Skyfall. Ben Whishaw steps into Skyfall as the youngest Q of all the Bond films, marking the first time that Q will be younger than James Bond, played by Daniel Craig. The role of Q was made famous in the Bond films by Desmond Llewelyn, who played the Bond gadget man for over three decades.

Skyfall is currently shooting in the U.K. for a November 12 release. Skyfall stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney and Ben Whishaw.
