The X Factor: Rachel Crow “Fine” After Elimination
13-year old Rachel Crow saw her time on The X Factor come to an end on Thursday night after Crow was pitted against Marcus Canty in the bottom two of the compeition. Although Rachel Crow was one of The X Factor favorites for the entire season, Crow’s fate was left in the hands of judge Nicole Scherzinger, who went to the audience votes to determine who would move on in The X Factor. As a result, Marcus Canty had more audience votes and Rachel Crow was eliminated.
The next day when The Deadbolt caught up with young Rachel Crow to learn more about how she felt 24 hours later, Crow was only positive about her X Factor experience.
“It’s good today, I’m fine,” said Crow. “I left the competition on top, I felt like, and it’s not her fault, her decision.”
Although Rachel Crow didn’t win The X Factor after a memorable run on the popular Fox series, Crow did learn a lot from being in the entertainment spotlight for weeks. “I learned to always stay true to who you are,” admitted Crow. “and I learned to control to my vocals even more now.”
As for anything Rachel Crow should or could have done differently with her songs to keep her on The X Factor, namely to allow mentor Simon Cowell to choose her final songs, Rachel revealed that she’s comfortable with what took place.
“If I would have done the songs he wanted me to,” said the young Crow, “I would have gone up there and regretted doing it. But I’m happy with my choice and I’m glad.”
