Footage from a 10 year old interview with late Apple founder Steve Jobs will soon hit theaters in a new documentary called Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview will screen in Mark Cuban’s Landmark Theatres on November 16 and 17. The footage was taken during a 1996 an interview with Steve Jobs and Robert Cringely for the PBS mini-series Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires.
Following the death of Apple creator Steve Jobs on October 5, Paul Sen, director of Triumph of the Nerds, found a VHS copy of the original interview and contacted Robert Cringely about the footage. As reported by THR, Cringely then contacted Mark Cuban about screening the interview who quickly agreed.
Although only 10 minutes of the interview was used for the PBS special, Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview the entire chat with Jobs and Cringely lasted more than an hour.
Steve Jobs: The Lost Interview will be screened in New York, Los Angeles, the Silicon Valley, and other select locations.
