Facebook unveiled its new Timeline feature on Thursday, which allows users to see their history within the social network in reverse chronological order from day one.
On Thursday of this week, Facebook launched its Timeline feature, which allows users to see their posting history like a scrapbook, back to their first day on Facebook. For now, Facebook users can choose between the current look of their profile or switch to the Timeline format, which will automatically go live after a seven day preview.
For those who don’t like the new Timeline layout of Facebook, unfortunately there is no option to turn it off once it’s activated, which could mean that all Facebook accounts will eventually turn to the Timeline format whether we like it or not.
There is, however, an option to shut off Timeline if you accidentally turn it into a business page, which requires help from Facebook support to fix.
Have you switched over to Facebook Timeline, or are you waiting to see what happens?
