A crew member on the set of Charlie’s Angels was fired on Wednesday after slapping the butt of actress Minka Kelly and banned from the production.
According to TMZ, a crew member on the set of the new Charlie’s Angels was fired. However, contrary to early reports that suggested the man had a $100 bill in his hand when he slapped the butt of Minka Kelly, and that Kelly slapped him back, the rumors of the money and retaliation were untrue.
As reported, a source directly connected to the production, as well as other ABC sources, revealed to TMZ that a crew member did in fact slap actress Minka Kelly on the butt, which prompted the actress to confront the man. “Please don’t ever disrespect me or any other woman like that again,” Kelly was reported as saying.
TMZ goes on to report that witnesses told the ABC heads about the incident, which resulted in the crew member being fired and banned from the Charlie’s Angels set despite other claims that Minka Kelly didn’t want the person fired and had nothing to do with the decision to let him go.
