Diva Whitney Houston Dies at 48
Singer Whitney Houston has died at the age of 48 after the Associated Press received word from Houston’s publicist that the legendary diva had passed away.
Although the details surrounding the death of Whitney Houston are still unknown, the AP reported that Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, stated that Whitney had died but the cause of death and location weren’t known.
Following the AP report that Whitney Houston had died on Saturday, TMZ also ran the story of Houston’s death.
Interestingly, only hours earlier, unconfirmed online rumors had Whitney Houston a potential candidate as a judge on The X Factor.
Former wife of New Edition singer Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston was a six time Grammy Award winner and one of the most successful singers of all time. Despite all of her success, Whitney publicly battled drug addiction for years before seeking treatment and mounting a comeback last year.
Whitney Houston was 48 at the time of her death. And we’re still hoping this story isn’t true!
