‘Go On’ Sports and Humor with Laura Benanti and John Cho

Go On actors Laura Benanti and John Cho share their thoughts on working with Matthew Perry and what fans can expect from the new upcoming NBC sports therapy series.

On Wednesday, August 8, NBC will give fans an “ad-free” preview of Go On, starring Matthew Perry, following the 2012 Olympics. The early preview of Go On will air at 11:08 p.m. ET on Wednesday before the series officially premieres on Tuesday, September 11 at 9 p.m..

In Go On, Matthew Perry returns to series television in the role of sports radio host Ryan King who’s thrown into group therapy after the death of his wife a month earlier. Actress Laura Benanti plays Lauren, the leader of the support group, while John Cho plays Steven, Ryan’s radio station boss who forces Perry into group therapy.

In the newly released Go On clip by NBCDirect, Go On co-stars Laura Benanti and John Cho talk to NBCDirect’s Janine Brady about working with Matthew Perry, their connection to sports, the core of the series, and the blend of drama and comedy fans can expect.
