Ben Affleck Approached to Direct Justice League

Ben Affleck is now a potential director for the Justice League movie after reports indicate Warner Bros. approached Affleck for the job.

Following a massive deal between writer/director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios for the sequel to The Avengers and a planned television series, Warner Bros. is apparently looking at Ben Affleck as a possible director for the long-in-development Justice League movie, according to Variety.

Although the news of Ben Affleck may be a shock to some fans, Affleck has an prior and existing relationship with Warner after directing The Town and the upcoming political thriller, Argo.

What’s not known at this point is whether Affleck would be given a role in Justice League as an actor or if he’ll simply serve as director. However, as Variety reveals, Warner Bros. has approached Ben Affleck about the Justice League movie and will soon be discussing the project with the studio.
