Lionsgate announced that Alan Ritchson has been cast in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in the role of Gloss, a former career tribute from District 1.
On Wednesday, Lionsgate confirmed that actor Alan Ritchson was cast as Gloss in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Gloss and his sister Cashmere are both competing in the Quarter Quell, the 75th Annual Hunger Games.
The Catching Fire casting of Alan Ritchson follows on the heels of actress Meta Golding landing the role of Enobaria and Bruno Gunn being cast as Brutus.
Ritchson most recently starred in the CBS comedy pilot Super Fun Night with Rebel Wilson, and Blue Mountain State, which aired on Spike TV for three seasons.
Lionsgate will release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22, 2013.
