Some of the biggest names in British music will close out the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London on Sunday night under the supervision of artistic director Kim Gavin.
Although a slew of top names in British music have been mentioned in the press in the past 48 hours, no official confirmation was given about the final musical line up at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics.
However, sources within several top outlets have been filling in the gaps despite a lack of official Olympic word.
Called “A Symphony of British Music,” according to E! News, the stars allegedly set (or rumored) to perform at the closing ceremony include The Spice Girls, Once Direction, George Michael, Take That, The Who, Queen with Brian May, Adele, Jesse J., the Rolling Stones, The Pet Shop Boys, and Madness.
Other British stars rumored to close out the 2012 Olympics on Sunday night, as reported by The L.A. Times, include singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran with members of Pink Floyd, Ray Davies of The Kinks, and Muse.
