The Bourne Legacy with Jeremy Renner took the top spot at the Friday box office after the spy thriller grossed $14 million in its first day.

The Bourne Legacy, the fourth film in the Bourne franchise, took in $14 million on Friday to lead the way over The Campaign at $10.3 million and The Dark Knight Rises with $5.6 million in Friday box office sales.

Industry analysts have The Bourne Legacy on track for a $45 million weekend take at the box office come Monday morning. If estimates prove to be correct, the three day total will fall short of the 2007 opening weekend of The Bourne Ultimatum, which grosses $69 million.

In The Bourne Legacy, Jeremy Renner replaces Matt Damon as the lead.
