Actor Sam Claflin has been cast in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 
the role of Finnick, a former District 4 Hunger Games winner.
On Wednesday, Lionsgate confirmed that Sam Claflin was cast as Finnick in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Following his romantic lead role in Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides, Sam Claflin went on to play Prince William in Snow White and the Huntsman alongside Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be directed by Francis Lawrence and is based is the second in a trilogy by author Suzanne Collins that has sold more than 50 million books in print and digital in the U.S. alone.
Lionsgate will release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22, 2013.
