Anger Management Gets 90 Episode Order at FX

FX has officially ordered 90 more episodes of the Charlie Sheen topped comedy Anger Management after a successful 10-episode first season debut.

Although Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed in early August that he expected Anger Management to receive a 90 episode order, the news about the FX pick-up was made official this week. As Hollywood Repoter revealed, Anger Management met an unspecified ratings threshold to prompt 90 more episodes of the Charlie Sheen comedy.

After high ratings expectations were set prior to the debut of Anger Management, Chuck Saftler, executive vice president of FX Networks, revealed to the press that “the series met and exceed those metrics.”

As the report indicates, Anger Management has sold in various countries for $600,000 per episode and will be put into syndication in the latter half of 2014.

Also revealed by THR, Martin Sheen will return to Anger Management in the role of Charlie’s father.
