Kim Kardashian Ineligible for Hollywood Walk of Fame

Kim KardashianReality star Kim Kardashian won’t be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame due to a lack of acting credentials and professional recognition.

According to Hollywood Reporter, a representative for the The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce confirmed that in order to be considered for the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Kim Kardashian would need at least five years of professional acting experiences and a minimum of one nomination for a major award such as an Emmy, Academy Award, or SAG Award.

Although Kim’s foray into the acting world is a stretch at best, will the opportunity ever arise for reality TV personalities to get a star?

“Can’t really say if reality stars will ever be eligible,” the Hollywood Chamber rep added. “Not on our radar right now.”

Ouch, sorry Kim.

    Heck no, no star for Kim. Either they stick to the claim that it’s “reality” TV which means she does no acting. Or, they fess up and admit it’s ALL made up drama. If Kim gets a starI so should all those other tired women that appeared on Jerry Springer.

    Well. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is for movie and tv people who have achieved a signifcant level of performance and contributed their skills to enhance the performing arts in this medium. Kim has not achieved even a fraction of what we want from a true famous celebrity. Putting her on the walk would be an insult to the existing peoplle who garner this great honor!
