Actor Michael Clarke Duncan died on Monday at the age of 54 in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from complications related to a heart attack.
In a public statement, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, former Apprentice reality star and Michael Clarke Duncan’s fiancee, revealed that Duncan died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after suffering “a myocardial infarction.”
According to CNN, Michael Clarke Duncan was hospitalized for over seven weeks after suffering a heart attack on July 13 but never fully recovered.
Although Michael Clarke Duncan was best known for his Oscar nominated role in The Green Mile, Duncan also gave memorable and outstanding performances in such films as Armageddon, The Whole Nine Yards, Planet of the Apes, Bulworth, and many more.
Most recently, Michael Clarke Duncan played a widower and former attorney on the Fox series The Finder.
