64th Emmy Awards Winners List

When the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were over on Sunday night, Homeland, Modern Family, Game Change, and Louis C.K. came out the big winners.

Although all eyes were on Mad Men and Breaking Bad this past Sunday night at the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, the Showtime drama Homeland took home the award for Outstanding Drama series and the big awards in acting and writing.

Aside from the top Emmy honor of best series, Homeland also produced Emmy winners in Damian Lewis and Claire Daines as Outstanding Actor and Actress along with Alex Gansa, Howard Gordon, and Gideon Raff who collectively took home the Emmy for Outstanding Writing.

Other big Emmy winners were Modern family with three awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series, the HBO mini-series Game Change with three Emmys, and Louis C.K. with two Emmys for writing.

Other notable Emmy winners were Jessica Lange for her supporting role on American Horror Story, Kevin Costner for Lead Actor in the History mini-series Hatfields & McCoys on History, and Tom Berenger for his supporting role in the same project.
