Ahead of the October 14 season premiere of The Walking Dead, AMC released a new behind-the-scenes featurette of Michonne, one of the new characters introduced in the third season.
Michonne, played by Danai Gurira, is one of two new characters introduced from The Walking Dead comic. Gurira joins The Walking Dead cast as a fierce Katana wielding female character.
Actor David Morrissey will portray The Governor, one of the new antagonists for Season 3 and an important figure in The Walking Dead comic storyline.
Fans of The Walking Dead are in for a treat this season after AMC gave the go-ahead for an extended 16-episode order that will split Season 3 into two parts.
The first eight episodes of The Walking Dead Season 3 will begin on October 14.
