Neil Young, the Black Keys, and Foo Fighters rocked The Global Citizen Festival over the weekend for a concert organized by the Global Poverty Project.

The Global Citizen concert was held in New York City’s Central Park with over 60,000 fans in attendance to help raise awareness for global poverty. Other acts and celebs who made appearances during the festival included John Legend, Selena Gomez, K’Naan, and actress Olivia Wilde.

As the solo acts and bands performed, the Global Poverty Project played films focusing Malaria and Polio, two diseases that still impact those in extreme poverty around the world.

In a moment of musical solidarity, Neil Young and Crazy Horse were joined onstage by Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys for a 10-minute version of Young’s hit “Rockin’ the Free World” along with other performers at the festival.

And bad news for fans of the Foo Fighters. In a surprise turn of events, Dave Grohl hinted that he and the Foo Fighters would be going on indefinite hiatus.
