The Adele theme song for the new James Bond movie Skyfall was leaked online this week ahead of the Bond film’s November 9 release in the United States.
Although the Skyfall song was set for release this Friday, a small excerpt from the new Adele sung Bond theme hit the internet early Tuesday morning. The Skyfall song was co-written and produced by the Grammy award winner Paul Epworth, who tweeted his response to the song leak, “I hear a short excerpt of Skyfall leaked,” said Epworth. “I can’t wait for everyone to hear the whole thing because Adele’s performance is jaw dropping.”
The Skyfall title track showcases Adele’s soothing vocals which are backed by a 77-piece orchestra. Although the Skyfall theme starts slow, it builds to a powerful orchestral crescendo.
