The new James Bond film Skyfall with Daniel Craig got a positive boost from critics after an early screening of the movie in London on Friday.
Following the Friday screening of Skyfall, the early reviews have already lit up the web. And for fans wondering if Skyfall will be better than Quantum of Solace, some critics say that parts of the new Bond film are best in the 50-year history of the franchise.
Robbie Collin of the Britain’s The Telegraph went out on a huge limb after seeing Skyfall on Friday saying that “… ace cinematographer Roger Deakins makes the wildly ambitious action sequences the most beautiful in Bond’s 50-year career.”
Todd McCarthy of Hollywood Reporter shared the same “best” sentiment about Skyfall. “This beautifully made film will certainly be embraced as one of the best Bonds by loyal fans worldwide,” said McCarthy of THR, “and leaves you wanting the next one to turn up sooner than four years from now.”
Directed by Sam Mendes, Skyfall James Bond (Daniel Craig) on a global mission as he finds himself torn between a loyal dedication to the agency and his superior M. (Judi Dench).
The praise for Skyfall continued with The Daily Mail’s Baz Bamigboye who stated that the new Bond film is “pure classic 007 fare, back on firm footing after the less than memorable Quantum of Solace.”
Skyfall hits theaters in the U.S. on November 9.
