The teaser poster for World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, was released on Tuesday only a day after preview footage was revealed ahead of the first trailer.

Although the first trailer for director Marc Forster’s World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, will debut on Thursday, a basic teaser poster was released to fans on Tuesday. With only a black background, title text/logo, and the release year, the new teaser poster isn’t anything to write home about.

However, judging by the early preview footage for World War Z on Entertainment Tonight, the Brad Pitt topped zombie apocalypse looks promising despite the project’s many public production problems.

In the ET preview, only one man can save us from the zombies in World War Z as Brad Pitt’s character leaves his family in an effort to lay waste to an army of undead walkers.

In World War Z …

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

World War Z is based on the Max Brooks penned book of the same name that tells an Oral History of the Zombie War. Whether this World War Z resembles the book remains to be seen.

However, we’ll find out more when the first trailers debuts this Thursday.
