Hitchcock actress Scarlett Johansson is the focus of a new round of photos that show Johansson in the role of Janet Leigh from Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
In the newly released photos of Hitchcock, fans get several looks at Scarlett Johansson in the role of actress Janet Leigh who was featured in the famous shower scene in Hitchcock’s 1960 horror film Psycho.
Also in the new Hitchcock photos, Anthony Hopkins sits in the title role of Alfred Hitchcok, Jeesica Biel in the role of Psycho actress Vera Miles, Toni Colett as Hitchcock’s assistant Peggy Robertson, Michael Stuhlbarg as talent agent Lew Wasserman, and Helen Mirren in the role of Alma Reville, wife of Alfred Hitchcock.
Directed by Sacha Gervasi, and produced by Ivan Reitman, Tom Pollock, and Joe Medjuck, Hitchcock tells a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie Psycho.
Released in 1960, Psycho, starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, Janet Leigh, and Matrin Balsam, was nominated for four Academy Awards and is now considered to be one of the greatest films of all time.
Hitchcock hits theaters on November 23 and also stars Danny Huston, James D’Arcy, Michael Wincott, Richard Portnow, and Kurtwood Smith.
