Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in New York City on Wednesday night with musical guest performers Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Bruno Mars.
Thirty-seven Victoria’s Secret Angels rocked the New York runway that launched the careers of such elite models as Heidi Klum, Karolina Kurkova, and Gisele Bundchen. The show was full of thematic costumes and iconic Angel Wings.
Miranda Kerr brought the crowd to its feet when she hit the runway in her 8-feet high wings while Adriana Lima returned only two months after giving birth to her new daughter.
Alessandra Ambrosio debuted the $2.5 million London Jewelers Fantasy Bra that featured more than five-thousand sapphires, rubies, and a 20-carat diamond as a centerpiece.
Other Angels who walked the runway included Joan Smalls, Behati Prinsloo, Hilary Rhoda, Karlie Kloss, Candice Swanepoel, and Lily Aldrige.
New Victoria’s Secret Angels to rock the 2012 runway included Cara Delevingne and Jasmine Tookes.
As for celebrity angels, Rihanna hit the New York stage in her own sexy lingerie during performances of “Diamonds” and “Phresh Out the Runway.” From backstage, Rihanna even tweeted, “I’m a #VS girl now lol,” where she snapped pictures of herself hanging out with the Victoria’s Secret models.
Justin Bieber performed “Beauty and the Beat” and “As Long as You Love Me” as the Angels modeled various fashions before Bruno Mars took the VS stage to sing “Young Girls” and “Locked Out of Heaven.”
The 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air December 4 on CBS.
