The first trailer for War War Z with Brad Pitt was released to give fans an early look at the apocalyptic zombie mayhem based on the novel by Max Brooks.
In the newly released World War Z trailer, Brad Pitt stars as United Nations employee Gerry Lane whose family drive in New York City is disrupted when all hell breaks loose and the oral history of zombie war plays out live in real time.
As the zombie threat becomes all too real, Lane is pulled further and further away from his family in an effort to save the planet from the zombie apocalypse.
Directed by Marc Forster, War War Z stars Brad Pitt, Mirelle Enos, James Badge Dale, and Matthew Fox. World War Z is based on the Max Brooks penned book of the same name that tells an Oral History of the Zombie War.
“The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.”
In 2007, Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment won the screen rights to the novel in a bidding war with Leonardo DiCapro’s Appian Way production company.
