Actress Anne Hathaway returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend to host the NBC sketch comedy series for a third time with Rihanna as musical guest.
In the newly released SNL clips, Anne Hathaway pokes fun at her upcoming role in Les Miserables with Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe before letting loose on actress Claire Danes in a Homeland themed sketch.
In the Homeland parody, Hathaway plays a bipolar version of Danes’ CIA agent character Carrie who gets a little too emotional before jump an interview subject waiting to be interrogated.
As well, Anne Hathaway hit the SNL stage for an Ellen DeGeneres themed bit to poke fun at Katie Holmes who Hathaway played on SNL in the past.
Next on SNL this past weekend, Anne Hathaway appeared in a comedy short called Mokiki: The Legend of the Sloppy Swish with Taran Killam who couldn’t control his infectious dance vibe. The day after Hathaway’s short bit, Mokiki’s new dance took the country and Twitter by storm.
Although Anne Hathaway played host this week on Saturday Night Live, Rihanna served as musical guest ahead of her new album Unapologetic. Rihanna gave SNL fans two new songs in “Diamonds” and “Stay”, both from her new album.
