Insurance agent Sean Lowe makes his debut as The Bachelor on Monday, January 7 only a few months after being rejected by Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette.
Although Sean was unlucky in love with Emily who went on to pick entrepreneur Jef Holm as her Bachelorette partner, Lowe gets his own shot this week when he moves into The Bachelor mansion for Season 17.
With 26 girls competing for Sean’s roses on The Bachelor, things turn ugly when simmering tensions boil over and send one lovebird to the hospital. After the high-stakes drama, it appears that Sean finds a love of someone or something when it’s all said and done this season.
Here are three burning questions on our mind ahead of The Bachelor premiere:
Will Sean have a Courtney moment?
In the season preview of The Bachelor, things look an awful lot like what went down with Ben Flajnik last season when many of the girls claimed Ben was only seeing one side of Courtney Robertson. As we all know, Ben fell head-over-heels for … well, one side of Courtney before going all the way (in more ways than one) last year to the finale.
This season someone sounds the alarm bells and tells Sean, “Who you get is a completely different girl as the house gets.” Sound familiar? Will Sean have a Courtney moment and be fooled by someone with an agenda?
Honestly, Sean doesn’t seem like the type of guy to have a beach romping moment like Ben did last season with Courtney. We’ll see.
What’s so significantly stupid?
Well, (aside from the obvious) things get out of control crazy this season on The Bachelor when it appears that one girl gets seriously injured at the hands of another or more. The pain is enough for one girl to shriek, “I can’t believe they did this to me! It’s so messed up. Seriously, this is SO stupid!”
Whatever it is that goes down on The Bachelor, it’s serious enough to leave a blindsided Sean in tears. If one girl gets bullied by the others to the point of injury, it’s no laughing matter.
Whose fairy tale with Sean has begun?
Based on The Bachelor preview, someone admits that their fairy tale with Sean has started. Who is it? With so many girls under one roof, we’re not sure. Unlike Emily last season on The Bachelorette, someone truly appreciates the sweet genuineness in Sean’s eyes.
Although we hear a female’s voice in the preview, Sean does admit that he’s crazy about someone. “For a second there, I thought it was impossible,” admits Lowe. “But if you persevere through tough times, you can find love.” Does he mean on The Bachelor?
How do you feel about Sean as The Bachelor?
