Jennifer Lawrence will host Saturday Night Live less than a week after winning a Best Actress Golden Globe for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.
This weekend on NBC, Jennifer Lawrence hosts Saturday Night Live with musical guests The Lumineers only days removed from accepting her new Golden Globe award from former SNL regulars Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell.
In the newly released SNL promo, Jennifer Lawrence jokes about her recent Golden Globe win with Jason Sudeikis who announces, “And the winner and host of this week’s SNL with The Lumineers is – I knew it – Jennifer Lawrence.”
Poking fun at the time limit for acceptance speeches, Lawrence tries to say thank you but is quickly ushered off the stage by Sudeikis as music plays in the background.
Next Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Lawrence return for dialogue from Passenger 57 before Sudeikis dresses in a garbage bag to drop some weight and Lawrence picks up her Hunger Games bow to test her archery skills in the SNL studio.
If the promo is any indication of how Lawrence will fair on SNL comes Saturday, it’s looks like The Hunger Games star will be hilariously awesome.
