Director Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel hits theaters in the summer of 2013

The upcoming Man of Steel received a PG-13 rating from the MPAA amid rumors that two of the villains may have been revealed ahead of the film’s summer release.

Ahead of the summer 2013 release of Man of Steel, the MPAA officially gave the upcoming Zack Snyder directed Superman reboot a PG-13 rating, as was the case for Superman Returns in 2006.

Although the PG-13 rating came as no surprise to anyone, other Man of Steel news could be a shocker to some diehard fans of the comic book series.

According to comicbook.com, a LEGO playset at the London Toy Fair (which began on Tuesday), featured a “Battle of Smallville” playset with Tor-An, one of Zod’s “sleeper-agents” on Earth who will allegedly make an appearance in the upcoming film. The source at comicbook.com also revealed that Dev-Em, a villain from Krypton described as a juvenile delinquent sentenced to the Phantom Zone, will also appear in Man of Steel.

As for the actors who will play the villains, the comicbook.com source reveals that Richard Cetrone will allegedly take on the role of Tor-An while Richard Dufresne will apparently play Dev-Em.

Although Cetrone and Dufresne both worked with Snyder on the film Sucker unch, neither were officially listed as part of the cast for Man of Steel. Cetrone’s resume is quite lengthy as a stuntman with over 50 film and television credits. If the rumor is true, all of that stunt training could come in handy when up against Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Which villains do you want to see in Man of Steel?
