7 years ago by Troy Rogers

Mark BallasDancer Mark Ballas of Dancing with the Stars recently discussed the pressures that celebrities face on DWTS to learn complex steps and moves in a short period of time.

In the latest blog entry by Mark Ballas on USA Today, the Dancing with the Stars pro explained that the celebrities on the hit ABC series deserve a lot of credit for their efforts to learn various dance routines as if they’ve been dancing for years.

Mark Ballas also talked about the speed at which the DWTS celebrities have to learn the routines. Ballas admitted that Kristin Cavallari only had days to learn the cha cha, as compared to last season when he could take weeks to teach his partner a new dance. Ballas revealed that even with the time crunch, Cavallari has the skills to be at the top of the leader-board this week when they perform the quickstep on Dancing with the Stars.
