30 Rock Live: East and West Highlights

6 years ago by Reg Seeton

Tina Fey and the cast of 30 Rock went live this week with broadcasts for the east and west coasts that paid tribute to the golden age of television on NBC.

In the 30 Rock Live highlights from the east and west broadcasts, which are slightly different from each other, Liz and Kenneth knew that anyone could show up during a live show, even Kim Kardashian. For the live events, 30 Rock also looked back on the classic live sitcom from the 50’s called “The Lovebirds” before Timeless entertainer Joey Montero lived it up with special guest Dusty Springfield.

In a surprise guest appearance, Mad Men actor Jonn Hamm looked back at NBC’s ground-breaking black comedy, “Alfie and Abner,” with 30 Rock regular Tracy Morgan. As well, Jack, Tracy and Liz reflected on the telethon that put them all on a collision course before flashing back to a fateful day when “The Gruber Brothers and Nipsey” was interrupted by news from Mission Control.

Check out the 30 Rock Live highlights below as the show paid tribute to such iconic shows as The Honeymooners and past stars Dean Martin, Dusty Springfield and more.
