Twilight Saga actress Kristen Stewart has topped the Forbes Highest Paid Actress list with earnings of $34.5 million over the past year ending in May, 2012.
Kristen Stewart topped the Forbes list of highest paid actresses after starring in the The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and Snow White and the Huntsman and has been money in the bank for studios. In relation to Stewart being ranked number one on the list, Forbes revealed that the rising star power of Kristen means that studios need to “pay up” when it comes to signing Kristen for a film.
Stewart earned $34.5 million between May 2011 and May 2012 to rank her at the top of the Forbes list. At 22, Kristen Stewart is the youngest woman to top the Forbes Highest Paid Actress list in 16 years.
Rounding out the top five on the newly released Forbes list were Cameron Diaz with $34 million in earnings, Sandra Bullock with $25 million over the past year, Angelina Jolie at $20 million, and Charlize Theron with $18 million.
