Daniel Radcliffe to Play Murder Suspect in Horns

Actor Daniel Radcliffe will return to the fantasy genre that made him famous in Horns based on the best-selling novel by author Joe Hill.

It was announced on Friday at Comic Con in San Diego that Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe will star in director Alexandre Aja’s crime fantasy film Horns as a prime murder suspect of his girlfriend in the upcoming story adapted from the novel of the same name by author Joe Hill, the son of horror legend Stephen King.

In Horns, Daniel Radcliffe will play the character, Ig Parrish who awakens after a drunken night near the area where is girlfriend’s body was found only to discover that he’s grown horns that prompt people to act on their urges and confess their sins. With his newfound powers, Parrish (Radcliffe) can uncover the identity of the real killer behind his girlfriend’s rape and murder.

Production on Horns gets underway after the summer.

    sounds interesting!  doesn’t seem too much of a horror story per se , more scifi/fantasy. I think it would have been more interesting if he was playing the actual murderer/rapist/criminal what-have-you,
