Snoop Dogg ‘Reincarnated’ as Snoop Lion for Reggae Album

Snoop Dogg has traded in rap for reggae in the documentary Reincarnated which chronicles Snoop’s trip to Jamaica to record an album.

In the upcoming documentary, Reincarnated, Snoop Dogg renames himself “Snoop Lion” for his journey into the roots of reggae, the legacy of Bob Marley, and his upcoming album of the same name. In Reincarnated, Snoop enters a new stage of life where reggae plays a more significant role than rap. Interestingly, Snoop admits that he’s tired of the rap game and wants to express himself in new ways. After experiencing the highs and lows of both fame and life, Snoop also admits that he was forced to choose a different path.

As the trailer for Reincarnated shows, Snoop travels to Jamaica to immerse himself in the Rastafarian culture and reggae music. As a result, fans get a musical sneak peek at the sound of Snoop Lion.
