Lil Wayne Breaks Billboard Record for Most Entries

Rapper Lil Wayne made history this week when he surpassed Elvis Presley to break the record for most Billboard Hot 100 entries with 109 hits on the chart.

Since Lil Wayne began his career at the age of 9 back in 1992, the rapper has appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 list more times than Elvis Presley, who previously held the record for almost 50 years with 108 appearances.

How did Lil Wayne achieve such a significant record so quickly?

To start, Lil Wayne is one of the industry’s most sought after collaborators. He has 42 solo hits and 67 appearances with other notable songs. Lil Wayne’s latest single from The Game called “Celebration”, debuted at #82 this week on the Billboard Hot 100.

Some of Lil Wayne’s most notable collaborations include songs with childhood friend Juvenile, Destiny’s Child, Birdman, T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Fat Joe, Birdman, Rick Ross, Keri Hilson, Jay-Z, and Kanye West.

At only 30 years old, who knows how many more hits Lil Wayne will continue to produce?
