Dancing With The Stars All Star Melissa Rycroft was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after suffering a head injury in practice with partner Tony Dovolani.
Following the incident, Tony Dovolani hit Twitter to update fans on Melissa’s condition, “Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft,” tweeted Dovolani, “we don’t know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers #trouper.”

We know that the routines on Dancing with the Stars can often be dangerous since a few injuries have plagued contestants throughout the seasons.
In Season 14, Melissa Gilbert suffered a concussion and blacked out after hitting her head on the stage during one of her performances. In Season 5, Marie Osmond fainted after her performance while talking to host Tom Bergeron.
One of the scariest injuries in DWTS history occured in Season 12 when pro dancer Kym Johnson suffered a neck injury during a routine with partner Hines Ward. Although Johnson had to wear a neck brace for weeks, the couple went on to win the Mirror Ball trophy.
So, will Melissa and Tony live to dance another day?
As of Monday morning, Melissa Rycroft hasn’t officially pulled of Monday night’s performance episode. And forget the sympathy vote, Melissa Rycroft is one tough dancing machine!
