Actor Samuel L. Jackson nearly dropped a full F-Bomb on Saturday Night Live this past weekend, stopping short with “man, fuh!” on a mock talk show.
During a sketch with SNL’s Keenan Thompson, Samuel L. Jackson almost dropped the F-Bomb when he pretended to get upset on the fictional talk show, “What Up with That?” After Jackson’s near F-Bomb, the star could be heard saying, “bulls**,” which caught Keenan Thompson off guard. “C’mon, Sam,” said SNL regular Thompson. “That costs money!”
Following this week’s SNL, Samuel L. Jackson hit Twitter in the most appropriate way to explain what had happened. “I only said FUH not FUCK,” tweeted Jackson. “K was sposed to cut off da BULLSHIT, blew it!!”
The actor also posted a photo (upper right) in reaction to the SNL slip up.
F-Bomb comedy aside, SNL also paid tribute to the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting on Friday in Newton, Connecticut where 28 people lost their lives. The show opened with a performance of “Silent Night” by the New York Children’s Chorus.
