Rolling Stones guitarist/bassist Ronnie Wood married fiancee and theater producer Sally Humphreys on Friday in ceremony at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
British media outlets report that the wedding of 65-year old Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones and the 34-year old Sally Humphreys took place at London’s Dorchester Hotel and included invited celebrity guests Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster along with Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell.
Wood and Humphreys had been dating for six months before their engagement in October of 2012. For the wedding, Sally Humphreys revealed that she wore her mother’s wedding dress. It was Wood’s third marriage. He had previously been married to Krissy (née Findlay) and Jo Wood.
The wedding came just a week after The Rolling Stones finished their mini 50th Anniversary tour through England and the eastern United States. The tour was in support of their 50-year anniversary of being on tour and the band’s new greatest hits album “GRRRR.”
The Rolling Stones also participated in the 12-12-12 relief concert for Hurricane Sandy where they joined the likes of Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, and Bruce Springsteen on stage to raise funds for victims of the natural disaster.
