It appears that Britney Spears may soon be let go from The X Factor after serving only one season behind the judge’s table on the Fox singing competition.

Although Britney Spears is still an X Factor judge for the moment, US Weekly reveals that Britney will soon be let go after earning a whopping $15 million paycheck. At the heart of the matter is Britney’s performance as a judge. It appears that Simon Cowell had higher expectations.

“He wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney,” an anonymous source told US Weekly. “They paid all that [$15 million] for her to say ‘amazing’ and offer half-claps.”

However, the source goes on to say that Britney “will get the boot” and that “producers wanted her for the long haul, but it isn’t working.”

Should the unconfirmed rumor prove true, Britney Spears will be the second judge to leave The X Factor following the departure of L.A. Reid, who returns to his duties as CEO of Epic Records after two seasons on the show.

Aside from Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato is the only judge left on The X Factor. However, Cowell has not confirmed whether Lovato will be back for next season.

The latest rumor falls in line with early speculation last season that both former judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul would be fired from The X Factor. Following a flurry of online rumors about the exits of Scherzinger and Abdul, both X Factor judges were let go.

Prior to the start of the second season, after much speculation, Simon Cowell eventually confirmed Demi Lovato and Britney Spears as judges.

Now, however, it appears that Simon may be cleaning house all over again.

Should Britney Spears be fired from The X Factor? How about Demi Lovato?

I love having Britney on The X Factor. She didn’t give the best advice but she stood by her teens. The X Factor is just grasping at straws now. without Brit, who will watch?

I say let her stay. At least give her another year chance by telling her what you’d like instead of criticizing her behind her back.
She is a beautiful addition to your panel. Don’t fire her.

There is no way she should be fired cause she never should of been hired for 15 million you think she would apply her self to exspectaion of the job when you are being any amount of money it is your job to go above and beyond the call of duty to keep your job or have that refrence for the next thing you do who’s gonna want to hire her for anything now this might of been one of the only chances she will have for real good money and to redeam her self after the whole shavin her head and drug abuse issue nothing aginst her but as a celleberty she needs to be a role model to are youth and personaly I dont think she should have had spot on t.v. so soon affter all of her resent events from disney to a scandal hopefully she dont break probation
