Justin Bieber went public on Twitter amid controversy surrounding photos that showed Bieber holding what appeared to be a joint between his fingers.
TMZ first posted the alleged drug photos that showed Justin Bieber holding a suspicious looking cigarette at a hotel party with others in Newport Beach. TMZ claimed that Justin’s security guards were also in the room but didn’t stop partygoers from snapping pictures of Bieber allegedly smoking pot.
On Saturday, Justin Bieber was busy on Twitter with a flurry positive messages for fans. “Every day growing and learning,” tweeted Bieber. “Trying to be better. U get knocked down, u get up,” Justin wrote.
What the actually refers to, we’re not sure.
After several tweets about his upcoming show in Utah on Saturday, Bieber grateful for all of the fan support. “I see all of u. I hear all of u. I never want to let any of you down,” added the star. “I love u and thank u. #beliebers.”
Justin Bieber is currently in the middle of his Believe tour which kicked off in September 2012 and will run until August 2013. Carly Rae Jepsen, Cody Simpson, and The Wanted are all confirmed as opening acts for various tour dates. In January alone, Justin will perform 13 concerts before jetting off to Europe.
Amid the drug photo controversy, Justin Bieber also addressed how he’ll handle negativity in the coming year.
“Like I said,” tweeted Bieber, “2013… new challenges. New doubters. I’m ready. We are ready.”
