Justin Timberlake rebooted the Myspace homepage on Tuesday with a new design in which users can sign in to hear his new “Suit and Tie” single with Jay Z.
After months of buzz, Justin Timberlake relaunched the newly designed Myspace on Tuesday with a new artist platform and sign-up incentive that allows Mayspace users to hear his new single “Suit & Tie.”
With a hefty financial investment from Timberlake, the new Myspace homepage was created with one thought in mind: usability.
Clean, crisp, and basic, the new MySpace redesign features Justin Timberlake in a suit and tie with the following introduction: “Justin Timberlake’s long-awaited return to music is here. Simply sign in to hear the first track from his forthcoming album.”
Although Myspace was at the forefront of the social media movement a decade ago, the network failed to retain followers that found alternate platforms like Youtube and Facebook. At the height of its popularity, MySpace was a key social sharing space for musicians to upload new music, promote tours, and interact with fans.
And if you can’t remember your login and password from the Myspace of old, you can still use them with the new MySpace.
See for yourself at Myspace.
