Beyoncé announced dates for her new world tour called “The Mrs. Carter Show” following her explosive Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance on Sunday.
After the Super Bowl game was over on Sunday, Beyoncé released the dates of “The Mrs. Carter Show” that will begin in Europe on April 15. The tour kicks off in Belgrade, Serbia on April 15 with 20 scheduled stops in such cities as Amsterdam, Paris, Stockholm, and London where Beyonce will perform three shows at the O2 Arena.
The “Mrs. Carter” name of her show refers to the real last name of husband Jay-Z whose name is Shawn Carter. It will be Beyoncé’s first world tour since her “I Am… Tour in 2009 when she performed 108 shows in 78 cities across 32 countries in 6 different continents and grossed close to $120 million in ticket sales.
The North American run of “The Mrs. Carter Show” will kick off at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on June 28. The rest of the tour includes stops all across the United States with select dates in Canada.
Beyoncé’s tour stop in Tinseltown will coincide with the BET Experience at L.A. Live from June 28 to 30.
