Beyonce will be on the March cover of Vogue magazine only a month after her Super Bowl XLVII halftime show that included a Destiny’s Child reunion.

Less than a month after headlining the halftime at Super Bowl XLVII, and lip-synching at the Presidential Inauguration, Beyonce will grace the March cover of Vogue in a Power Issue photo shoot by renowned photographer Patrick Demarchelier. March 2013 will be the second time that Beyonce has appeared on the cover of Vogue.

In a new behind-the-scenes video for the Vogue Power Issue, contributing editor Camilla Nickerson described the couture clothing and their meaning when worn by Beyonce. “These are extraordinary ‘diva’ clothes in the true sense of Italian cinema and Spanish influences,” said Nickerson, “but it’s really about Beyonce. And this is power after becoming a mom.”

For the March issue, Beyonce talks exclusively to Vogue about her music, family, fans, and her plans for an upcoming clothing label. Related to fashion, Beyonce opens up about the changes in her body over the past two years after giving birth to baby daughter Blue Ivy.

“Right now, after giving birth, I really understand the power of my body,” admitted Beyonce. “I just feel my body means something completely different. I feel a lot more confident about it. Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. ”

Beyoncé goes on to say that Blue Ivy is her “best friend” and the support from her family and husband Jay-Z helped her through the onslaught of tabloid headlines.

“I have something that has grounded me so much more,” added Beyonce. “Family has always been important. I’ve always had my mother and my father and my husband. Life is so much more than – It’s not defined by any of this [fame].”
