ABC announces a new comedy series, “Dr. Ken” starring Ken Jeong, premieres on October 2nd. “Dr. Ken is a cranky but lovable HMO doctor trying to juggle medicine and parenting who realizes that even when he’s right, his unorthodox approach is often wrong,” from ABC press release.
Ken Jeong is famously known for his role as Leslie Chow in the comedy movie The Hangover. Suzy Nakamura stars as Allison, his wife and a therapist, helps keep him in check while sharing responsibilities for their two kids: Dave, their youngest, who keeps life interesting with his quirky attitude, and their teenage daughter, Molly, who keeps them on their toes.
Other cast for “Dr. Ken” include Tisha Campbell Martin as Damona, Jonathan Slavin as Clark, Kate Simses as Julie, Albert Tsai as Dave, Krista Marie Yu as Molly, and Dave Foley as Pat.
The series premiere of “Dr. Ken” airs on Friday, October 2 at 8:30pm ET on ABC.
