An all new series from Showtime, “Billions,” premieres in January. Emmy® and Golden Globe® winners Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis star in a complex drama about power politics in the world of New York high finance. Lewis is best known for his recent role on Showtime’s hit CIA drama, “Homeland,” which is exciting for fans because he played a great role. It’s exciting to see him in a new Showtime series. Also starring in the show is Wendy Rhoades who is known from her role in “Sons of Anarchy.”
According to Showtime, “Shrewd, savvy U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) and the brilliant, ambitious hedge fund king Bobby “Axe” Axelrod (Lewis) are on an explosive collision course, with each using all of his considerable smarts, power and influence to outmaneuver the other. The stakes are in the billions in this timely, provocative series.”
Between the cast and storyline, “Billions,” is a new 2016 series that we don’t want to miss. The series premiere of Showtime’s “Billions,” airs on Sunday, January 17th at 10 pm ET.
