Bravo Media’s “Below Deck Mediterranean” returns for season 2 premiering May 2nd with a new captain, new location, and all new drama! Season 2 welcomes aboard Sandy Yawn, the first female captain of the “Below Deck” franchise, leading her crew to the picturesque location of Croatia. Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier and Deckhand Bobby Giancola return to this season’s cast, joined by some fresh faces including Chef, Adam Glick, Second Stew Christine “Bugsy” Drake, Third Stew Lauren Cohen, Bosun Wesley Walton, and Deckhands Malia White and Max Hagley.
As just one of a handful of female captains in the yachting industry, Captain Sandy Yawn has over 27 years of experience chartering yachts in the Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf. She is a cancer survivor, and even survived a life-threatening motorcycle crash.
Who could possibly replace Chef Ben? Well, this season it’s the cool Californian Adam Glick who lives in his van and loves to surf. Although he’s been working on yachts for 10 years, he dreams of opening up beachside taco stands. He likes living life simply, but like most chefs his abrasive side shines in the galley.
“’Below Deck Mediterranean’ sets sail for a second season in the pinnacle of yachting destinations, the Mediterranean, with a new young, attractive and bold crew aboard the 154’ mega yacht, “Sirocco.” As the team travels to some of the most famous islands of Croatia, they work hard to deliver an unparalleled experience for every guest but with major growing pains from the new working dynamic, they struggle to stay afloat,” says Bravo’s press release.
Season 2 of “Below Deck Mediterranean” premieres on Tuesday, May 9th at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
