Last night on “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly,” the host sat down for an exclusive one-on-one interview with President Vladimir Putin and addressed questions about recent allegations in America’s headlines…and there are A LOT!
Kelly asked the Russian President about allegations of interference in the 2016 election, which Putin denied. With multiple US intelligence agencies concluding there was interference in the election, Putin says, “They have been mislead, and they aren’t analyzing the information in its entirety.” He also denies knowing any information about the Russian Ambassador’s meeting in the oval office, as well as Jared Kushner’s request for a secret communication line before Trump’s inauguration, saying if there was anything significant it would have been reported and there were no reports. Putin says we’ve “created a sensation out of nothing, and out of the sensation you’ve turned it into a weapon of war against the current President.”
This lead’s to Michael Flynn, the former National Security Advisor that Trump hired and then fired for his communications with Russia. Despite photos of Putin and Flynn sitting next to each other at table, President Putin says, “I didn’t even really talk to him.”
