If you’re NOT a Scientologist, you’ll be super excited that A&E announced the season 2 premiere of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” is set for August 15th. The 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Informational Series or Special returns with 10 all-new, one-hour episodes following actress Leah Remini, who is a former Scientologist.
Season 2 of the series “further explores accounts of former Scientology members whose lives have been significantly impacted by the Church’s practices….along with former high ranking Scientology employees and Church members, as they delve deep into shocking stories of abuse and heartbreak,” from A&E’s press release.
Joining Remini, is Mike Rinder, who first appeared in Season 1 and partners with Remini sharing the devastating stories from people who bravely share their stories from growing up in and leaving the Church of Scientology.
Season 1 of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” is excellent and addicting. Everything about the quality of this series is excellent. If you missed season 1, you should see it, but you definitely don’t want to miss any of the upcoming season.
Season 2 of “Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath” premiers on Tuesday, August 15 at 9 pm on A&E.
