Tomorrow night, the Discovery Channel premieres an all-new series, “Finding Escobar’s Millions” following two former CIA officers set out to uncover drug lord Pablo Escobar’s multi-billion-dollar fortune said to be buried across Colombia.
“Legends say the vast majority of it has never been found. With never-before-granted access and permission in Colombia, two former intelligence officers armed with the skills and training from 10 years of work in the CIA go on the hunt for the alleged hidden treasure in this all-new series,” according to Discovery’s press release.
Former CIA operations officers, Doug Laux and Ben Smith, arrive in Columbia and connect with Juan Esteban, a source who shows Doug a safehouse where Pablo Escobar hid out while he was on the run from the law. ” Ben’s research provides proof of the caletas existence, and he and his tech team arrive at Pablo’s barrio to begin their search for Escobar’s hidden millions,” says the press release.
“Finding Escobar’s Millions” series premieres Friday, November 3 at 10 pm ET on Discovery.
