Last night Khloe Kohanski from Team Blake was crowned the champion of “The Voice,” season 13! The rock singer from Nashville, TN has earned coach Blake Shelton his sixth win in the singing competition, which reveals a big mistake from coach Miley Cyrus. Kohanski was originally on Team Miley, when Shelton stole Kohanski in the Knockout Rounds.
Chloe had fierce competition facing the other Top 4 finalists Addison Agen, Brooke Simpson, and Red Marlow. “Kohanski has earned the grand prize of a recording contract and will also join the cast of “The Voice: Neon Dreams,” which premieres in the spring at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. At the first ever Voice Residency, Kohanski will join “Voice” season 10 winner Alisan Porter along with finalists Matt McAndrew, Matthew Schuler, Mary Sarah, Chris Mann and Michael Sanchez as they perform eight shows a week for “Voice” fans from around the world,” says the NBC press release.
Kelly Clarkson appeared in the season finale, and will be joining “The Voice,” this spring as a coach, in season 14 set to premiere February 26 on NBC.
