ABC announced “Roseanne” returns with the same cast and all-new episodes on March 27th. The premiere will be a special hour-long episode. The complete original cast will reprise their iconic roles that dominate ratings in its original run, joined by new regulars and notable guest stars.
“The revival will explore life, death and everything in between through the relatable, hilarious and brutally honest lens of the Conner household. With the inimitable Roseanne at its epicenter, fresh stories that tackle today’s issues and even more laughs from a brilliant cast and crew that haven’t missed a beat, audiences old and new will celebrate the homecoming of America’s favorite working-class family,” says ABC’s press release.
The “Roseanne” cast stars, of course, Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Lecy Goranson, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara and Jayden Rey. Sarah Chalke, who played Becky Conner-Healy in later seasons, will also appear in another role.
The one-hour series premiere of “Roseanne” airs on Tuesday, March 27 at 8 pm ET on ABC, and moves to its regular time slot, 8:00-8:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, April 3rd.
